The Perfect Pink Lipstick

Hey guys, as you know I've been purchasing a lot of lipsticks lately, the reason mainly because I was just trying to find good lipsticks that work very well with my tan/olive complexion. While I have been doing my drugstore hauls I picked up Maybelline's Windsor Rose because I saw it was in CVS for 50% off retail. And I must say I absolutely love this soo much! Soo much that I used it a numerous amount of times on regular days or for special events.

I love everything about this lipstick, the color, the formula, the smell, texture, EVERYTHING! The color is very creamy yet opaque at the same time. It's a mauve-pink that is blue based and contains no shimmer or shine. The texture is very similar to my YSL lipsticks, that it feel very creamy, like butter in my lips. It smells like watermelons which I like!

Maybelline Moisture Extreme Lipstick, Windsor Rose A60

This lipstick has seriously become my holy grail! And after introducing to my sister, who had the same feelings about the color, I had to buy another one. I tried the CVS I bought it from, but it was all gone. And then my local CVS, gone! And then my Rite Aid and many many Duane Reades, gone! I went crazy the day I found out that this color which I thought I've seen everywhere before had just become discontinued! I even tried the internet and all drugstore websites didn't carry it anymore. I was even going to try Ebay, but I was doubting it. Finally after looking all over the internet I went back on the CVS website (which had it, but then disappeared and freaked me out) and they had it again. I wanted to buy atleast 10 of these but they only had 4 available, so I bought them all! :)

I never ever expected a drugstore product to make me go this crazy! I just can't believe how they would discontinue such a nice color. If you guys still find this at a store, grab it, its a must have!

Have you guys ever had a similar experience when you found out your new favorite product has been discontinued?

Rimmel Airy Fairy Lipstick Review

Hey everybody. I got a request from one of my readers to try this product. And I must say I'm very glad I did because its one of my new all-time favorites!!

The color I would describe it as a light mauvey pink that has nude undertones but still looks pink. When I swatched the product I noticed that it had a slight sheen to it but I think it's okay to have this since I have small lips and the shine helps emphasize my lips.

The color comes of a slightly opaque but it builds as you layer it. I think it a great light pink great since I have tanned skin and very pigmented lips and this color does not make me look like a guidette. It's very hard for people with medium to dark skin to find that perfect pink and I think this one really pulls it off for a lot of skintones.

The best part about this lipstick is that I was able to find it at CVS.com and it only cost me $5.29. I really love this color and have been wearing it a lot lately. I also like how it smells.

I hope this was helpful and thank you for the request!

I really want to try other of these Rimmel Lasting Finish Intense Wear Lipsticks. Have you guys tried this product in the other colors?

Revlon Photoready Translucent Powder and Foundation Review

Hey guys, I've been doing a lot of hauling lately, buying and trying a lot of drugstore products. This past week Rite Aid had a 40% off sale on Revlon products and so I bought quite a lot of stuff. The plus side to this hauling was that for every $10 I spend on Revlon Products I would receive free $4 coupon on anything in the store. This was great because it made me buy more Revlon stuff and everything super cheap. I usually buy drugstore products when they are on sale that week. So this was awesome!

Revlon PhotoReady Powder, 001 Translucent

This was my first time trying a translucent powder to set my foundation. I usually use my MAC studio-fix powder in NC40 to set my MAC foundation. I really like this powder. I do notice a slight scent to it but it's bearable. I think this a great alternative to a more expensive or a cheaper translucent powder.

Revlon Photo Ready Translucent Finisher has a brush inside
(the brush isn't that great though
:/ )

Revlon PhotoReady Translucent Finisher

In the winter I'm an NC37 in MAC liquid foundation but recently I have gotten quite a tan and am about a NC40-42. So I definitely had to buy a new foundation. Since I have been running low on budget, I really wanted to try this foundation. And I must say that I am very pleased and quite impressed because I feel as if this color suits me better than my liquid MAC foundation.

Revlon Photoready Foundation in 008 Golden Beige

So as for choosing the right shade, I had a really good idea of what color would be my perfect for me from other bloggers and youtubers. Aubrey aka Fafinettex3 is the same exact skintone as I am so I chose based on her opinion. And I am very happy with what I got. I chose the color 008 Golden Beige.

Revlon Photoready Foundation in 008 Golden Beige

What I really like about this foundation is that it's a bit sheer and has micro glitters that add shimmer. These shimmers are there to reflect light in photographs. When I wear this foundation it makes my skin look as if it has a nice glowy finish and the color matches my skin perfectly. However, when I take pictures, it made my face appear a bit lighter. To tone down the lightness, I contoured my face and wore some blush. And I must say I am very please with this. I also love he fact that it has a pump.

The dewy sparkly finish after blending out the pump more.

So, If you are an NC37-42 I recommend getting the Revlon Photoready in 008 Golden Beige. The translucent powder also works great at setting this product also. I hope this was helpful. Thanks for reading.

What's your opinion on Revlon Photoready Foundation?

Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick Lip Swatches PART II

Hi everyone! I just wanted to share these lovely lipsticks that I'm absolutely in love with right now! I tried these before and I really liked them.

Read My Old Review Here

So when I saw they were 40% off in Rite Aid again I went and I bought these new colors. This time I tried to pick different colors than the neutrals, but things that would suit my skin color.

The first color is called Peachy Scene. It's a peachy/brown with orange undertones. It has a nice pearly gold glaze to it. I really like it! It looks a bit nude/ neutral on my lips since I'm tan. The color is also very buildable.

The next color is called On The Mauve. This color isn't really mauve to me, it's more of a light purple/lilac color with some brown undertones and a slight shimmer. What really caught my attention about this color is that its very unique, like something I have never seen before. I like this color, but I don't recommend it for everyday since it looks a bit darkening to your lips. This color is a really cool color to try.

The next color is called Coral Crush. This is a very neon pinkish coral that has no shimmer and a nice creamy finish. When I saw this lipstick I instantly knew this was a dupe for MAC Red Full Stop, which is limited edition and something that I really want. But now I have this and I feel awesome for finding a dupe! Definitely recommend this one!

The next color is Make Me Pink. It's a very neutral/regular pink with blue undertones. It has no shimmer. I have to say that this color is the perfectest pink ever! This is one of my new everyday lipsticks. I like this way more than Pink Please because I feel that this suits my tan skin better than Pink Please, which looks more nude. This is a must have color for everyone!

This next color is Totally Toffee and OMG OMG OMG, I love this color soo much! It's my everyday color and a great nudish/neutral for my skin. It's practically the same color as my pigmented lips but it has a tan/nude effect to it. I recommend this for if you are around an NC 37, great nude!

The next color I got is Pink Peony. This is a pink/magenta with red undertones. This lipstick has a lot of shimmer and glitter in it. It's very beautiful. It reminds me of MAC Pink Burst. I recommend this for all skintones.

Celeb Outfit Ideas For Less

I haven;t blogged about celeb clothing styles in a while, but I have had my eye out on the current styles. All these items are great for the night out or for those cold summer days. These styles are mostly things that were "in" the past Winter/Spring and these can be reinvented even now! All these items are available at Forever21 because I found it to be the best cheaper alternative.

I hope this was helpful. Thanks for reading :)

Milani 3D Glitzy Glamour Gloss Review

Hey guys! I wanted to share these awesome glosses that were the first ones who made me start my ongoing drugstore hauls. These are the Milani 3D Glitzy Glamour Gloss and they cost about $6.99 each. I bought them without knowing about Milani sales so I bought them for regular price. I couldn't find all the colors at my local CVS so I had to order the others from Sears.com. So Here is my mini review of them.

Stylish - sheer orange with gold glitters, great over any color on on it's own.

Leading Lady - sheer maroon with gold/red glitters, good for a red/brown lip.

Designer Label - sheer beige with pink/orange glitters, great over a nude lip.

Movie Star - sheer blue with blue/pink glitters, very unique and great over pink/purple lips.

Starshine - sheer baby pink with purple glitters, very nice.

In Vogue - pigmented bright red with gold glitters, very pigmented and can be worn alone.

Fashion Diva - fuchsia with blue/purple glitters, beautiful color!

I find these very comparable to the MAC Dazzleglasses by the way the look. The texture is very different though.

Recently I did check out the MAC Superglass at the store and I find the texture of those to be more similar but to have more sparkle. I didn't buy any because I thought they were too expensive and they are pretty similar to Dazzleglasses and these Glitzy Glamour Glosses.

Have you guys checked out these products yet?

May Favorites!

Hey all! Here's some products I used a lot, bought, and recommend for this past month May!

1. Rimmel London The MAX Volume Flash Mascara
I really like this mascara, it makes my lashes look a lot fuller and darker. It really lengthens my lashes and makes them look really dramatic instantly.

2. Milani Liquif’Eye Metallic Eye Liner Pencil in Black
I really like the pencil. It makes my eyes look very black and dramatic. I've been using this about everyday and I love how it glides on so easily. I did a review of this before. Click here to read.

3. Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss Coral Reef
I heard about these on a few blogs and saw them in CVS and decided to try them out. I really love this color since I love corals and because it's very glossy and pigmented. Once again I'm sad that this is limited edition :(

4. Elizabeth Arden Eyeshadow, Blush, and Brush Palette
I got this set as a gift a few years ago. I recently found it in my make-up stash and have been using it again. The colors are great and this palette is great for when I'm in a hurry since all the colors are very wearable. I've been using this a lot since I had my finals so I didn't have time to choose colors. It''s nice pigmented and I really like it since it has a nice blush too.

5. Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Totally Toffee
Oh my gosh I love this color to death! This is like a nice pink/brown nude color with is almost the color of my lips but still look a bit nude. I love it soo much! Definitely going to be one of my all time favorites! It reminds me a lot of MAC Jubillee. I really really recommend this color if you like MAC Jubilee, Freckletone, or Warm Me Up.

6. OPI What's With the Cattitude from the Shrek Collection
I love this color. I don't see many light baby blue nail polishes so I decided to get this one because it really caught my eye. I love it and another thing I like about it is that it's opaque and applies thinly with the brush! I also love how it's in the Shrek Collection. The sad part about it is that it's limited edition!

7. Clean & Clear Morning Glow Eye Brightening Cream
I have this using this as a primer for many years now. It's still hasn't run out yet! I like to put this around my under eye area before I add concealer. I use it to hydrate that area and to clean up any eyeshadow fall out.

Milani Créme Brulip Color Glosses Lip Swatches

Hey guys! This is an overdue post once again! I bought these one month ago from the Milani Creme de la Creme Collection. I must say I really like these and have been liking a lot of Milani Cosmetics lately since they are a good price and are available at my local CVS. I still have a lot more Milani Reviews coming up too!

Milani Créme Brulip Color Glosses from top to bottom in
Sweet Dessert (01), Berry Brulée (02), Sugar Glaze (03), Strawberry Custard (06).

The thing I like about these are that they look as if they are lip glosses, but they have the same pigmentation like typical lipsticks. What really made me want to try them out was that the smell like actual creme brule. I thought it would be similar to the MAC Creamsheen Glass, but boy was I wrong! These are much better and inexpensive.

I would have to say that Strawberry Custard is my least favorite since it did not give me good coverage as the other ones did. This one had more of a typical MAC Creamsheen Glass texture and look.

These were all the ones that were released from my local CVS. I really like them and really recommend them since they were about $6.99 and work great. I've been looking everywhere and in other CVS's for these but I believe they are limited edition! :( I hope Milani brings these back because these are a hit!

If you guys see this in the stores, grab it it's awesome! Thanx for reading! :)
