UPDATE! and Maybelline Enchanted Forest Quad Review

Hey guys! I haven't blogged in a while! I had to step out because of school issues. I'm still having finals right now but after next week I'll have super updates on lots and lots of stuff I bought recently! I miss blogging I can't wait to start again! I have soo much more to share. Some of my upcoming posts are listed above! But here's a review I had forgot to put up a while ago!

This is a nice and everyday pallete. The colors are nicely pigmented for daily use and it's pretty good compared to other Maybelline eyeshadows I own! I picked this up from all the good reviews I saw on MakeUpAlley.com

I really like how they label what each shadow is used for although I find myself using the brow bone a lot! (I'm a sucker for highlighter shades :) )

Here's come swatches.
My camera didn't pick up most of the pigmentation on them but they are really nice and natural. As you can see the colors basically blend in with your skin. I will preview an eye look on it possibly soon! Thanks for reading :)

Revlon Matte Mauve It Over and Pink Pout Lipstick Swatches

Hey! This is my second attempt trying Revlon Matte Lipsticks since the first one wasn't too great. But I thought I would give it a try since I heard many good things about these lipsticks and I was curious enough to test them out. was amazed by how good they are!

Revlon Matte Mauve It Over (003) and Pink Pout (002) Lipstick

Revlon Matte Mauve It Over (003)
Dry but creamy light red/brown color that I would not consider Mauve since it looks more red than pink/purple. Color is almost the same color as my lips and I really like that. I feel like it can even be worn alone if your lips are not chapped. It's a great everyday color.

Revlon Matte Pink Pout (002)
Dry but creamy pink with brown/purple undertones. I thought this color would look too chalky on me but I'm amazed how it actually compliments my skin. It's a color that looks nice with some gloss but I love this pink, it really unique. Definitely recommend for olive skintones.

I find these colors both very wearable and definitely recommend these two. These are much WAY better than the first one I tried Nude Attitude (001) which was too drying and looked too chalky on my lips. To wear these you have to make sure your lips are not chappy since it will show up a lot with these too.

I hope this was helpful. More posts coming soon. Bye :)

Mulberry For Target Haul Madness

With all the hype about Mulberry bags (which usually sell for about ~$900) having a collection in Target for prices that range from $15-$50 is completely awesome. I called up all my local Target stores for these bags but they were all sold out! But I was able to find only 2 Target's up in the Bronx, NY which is where I found them! When I spoke to the store employee on the phone he told me there were 8 in the morning and I called back asking how many were left and he said 2-3 of the style I wanted and said that they were going fast! So, later on yesterday(10-15-10) I drove all the way there and a found there was a good handful but not too many. They had plenty of the Large Cerise Leopard Satchel in Pink and the Pebble Large Tote in Black (which is one I got)!

The Mulberry Look

All the Target versions of the bag come with this huge heart charm that I feel should be discarded immediately because it makes the bag look too pre-teenish. But I will show you how they look with it just because that's the way I bought it.

Mulberry for Target Denim Satchel in Blue
This is the one I really wanted because I thought it was super cute and gave the briefcase look. I prefer this one over the larger one because I felt the shorter handles looked better on it. This is definitely a must have. There were only 3 of these left from when I went yesterday night.

Mulberry for Target Pebble Large Tote in Black
I love how this bag looks very mature and has the signature turnlock. It looks very sophisticated and classy. I love how it's big enough to fit my laptop and other needs.

Mulberry for Target Pebble Mini Crossbody in Black
There was only one of these left! It was so cute that I couldn't resist, it is really tiny, smaller than I imagined from the website. But for the price I thought I'd get it because it's cute and I thought I wouldn't have another chance to buy it.

The reason I got these is because I want a Mulberry apart of my collection even though its Mulberry for Target. I like the fact that it has the signature briefcase look. Maybe when I'm older and rich I can afford to save up and buy the real ones but for now I'll be rockin these!

Chanel Nailpolish Dupes from Forever21

Hey guys. This is my version of a look Temptalia did using Chanel Nailpolishes from the Chanel Noir et Or Collection from Spring 2010 (long overdue post).
View Temptalia's swatches here for comparison.

These nailpolishes did not copy Chanel's idea since I purchased them before the collection launched. But the idea of them together is a fantastic combo. The reason I wanted to share this is becuase I know these are two nailpolishes that became instantly sold out.

In the process, The LA Girls Matte Nailpolish alone.

Together they make a great combo that looks luxurious! Similar to Chanel Black Velvet + Illusion d’Or Nail Lacquers

I hope this was helpful thanks for reading. :)

Revlon Colorburst Lipsticks in Crimson and Plum

Hey guys, this is my second review on Revlon Colorburst Lipsticks. These are actually two colors that my mom bought for herself since she wears bold lipstick colors everyday (like birght reds) but I decided to swatch them before I gave them to her. And I must say I really love these two colors, I was so surprised how flattering they were and want to keep them! I thought these were also two perfect reds for the fall.

Revlon Colorburst Lipsticks in Crimson (095) and Plum (010)

Plum (010) - When I first opened this from the tube I was so afraid that this color was a very very dark reddened plum. But when I put it on my lips, it looked a bit more like a maroon/burgundy color that I absolutely love! I love how the finish is a bit glossy so it doesn't make my lips look dry. It was also very long lasting. I will show some pictures I took on my webcam after wearing it for 3-4 hours.

Crimson (095) - I thought I was going to look riduculous with red lips but it actually looked very flattering. This is a medium/deep red similar to MAC Dubonnet, possibly a dupe. It's very creamy and glossy and lasted long too. I definatly recommend this to everyone.

New LE Maybelline Fashion Week Fall 2010 Collection Review

Hey guys, I'm going to do a few more posts on Fall makeup trends as my next few posts. Once again Rite Aid had a 40% off products a few weeks ago.
I always check sundaysaver.com before I head to the drugstores to know what's on sale that week. I had a lot of things I wanted from the company so I decided to try new things. These two things are from their Fall 2010 collection and are limited edition.

Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Berry Beautiful (941)

What I really like about this lipstick is that is is creamy and works as good as the other Color Sensational lipsticks I already own. The color is a dark fuchsia with plum/blue undertones and no shimmer or shine. Its a unique shade and glad I got this. Plus, I love how it smells.

Maybelline LE Eyeshadow Palette in Charming Cobalt (90)

This was my first time trying Maybelline Eyeshadow after they changed the formula so I didn't know what to expect. Usually their eyeshadows are a hit or miss and I would say this one is in the middle. I wanted some neutral everyday colors so I chose this.

Lid (Shiny Taupe), Crease (Dull Matte Green/Teal), Browbone (Shiny Sand)

I really was looking forward mostly to the browbone color and luckily that one is super awesome.
The lid color is a shiny taupe brown with silver glitters. This color is very good and long lasting. It's very similar to MAC - Banshee but not as sparkly.
The crease color is a dull teal that has a matte finish. The color is decently pigmented and builds up, which is something I prefer rather than taking too much and messing up my crease. The color looks a bit green based on my because of my strong yellow undertones.
The browbone is my fave and really good. It's a shiny metallic sand color. I use this all over my lid and really like it. Sort of similar to MAC - Femme Fi in color.

Everybody`s Wearing Cargo Skinny Pants This Season!

Hey all. Cargo Skinny Pants are totally in for this fall season. Many celebrities have been already been spotted wearing the most famous ones, J Brand "Houlihan" Skinny Cargo Pants. The style originally started on Balmain runways and many designers have incoporated on the style. Me being a huge fan wanted to buy the actual ones but they are SOLD OUT in many places. Luckily I found ones that were an exact dupe of them for about 90% off. I also found some other good ones in a similar style.

Dupes I found buy the brand Almost Famous retailing for about $30.00.

I got these pictures from Mandee.com but I found that other stores such as Pay Half or Strawberry also carries them. So I bought it from there for about $22.00! These are very good dupes. The detailing is very very identical to J Brands, even the color! They also had one available in Khaki too, which I might go back to get.

Some celebrities wearing it. Everybody's wearing them this season!

What do you think about this trend?

Revlon Super Lustrous Creme Lipsticks

Hi guys. As you know I did a huge Rite Aid haul on Revlon products when they had their products on sale for 40% off the original prices and also giving a $4 coupon for every $10 I spent. So I have bought quite a lot of their lipsticks and I really liked the creme formula form when I tried the colors Berry Haute and Sandalwood Beige. I realized I was lacking on my pink lippies so I tried to make u on that. So here's what I bought.

Ginger Rose (131)
Pink In The Afternoon (415)
Pink Velvet (423)
Sassy Mauve (463)
Just Buff Enough (613)
Peach Me (628)

Ginger Rose (131)
This color is a great nude with a hint of pink/red that has warm undertones. No shimmers. I love this lipstick so much. I recommend to many others and they have actually learned to like it. Plus, the formula is smooth, pigmented, and glides on well. I love this color a lot.

Pink In The Afternoon (415)
This is a nice typical regular bright pink with no shimmers. What I really like about this its a bright pink that tanned skin can wear. I think this is a color is universal and many people will like this color. This is creamy and buildable, and one of my favorites!

Pink Velvet (423)
I love this color. It's an everyday magenta pink with no shimmer. It compliments my skin a lot. I think this color is very underrated because I never really heard many blogs recommending it. It's creamy, pigmented, and I only need two layers and I'm good. I like this one!

Sassy Mauve (463)
This is a pink/mauve with cool purple undertones. It has no shimmer. Very pretty, creamy, pigmented, and a great everyday color. I highly recommend.

Just Buff Enough (613)
This color is a peach nude that does not match my skintone. Out of all the Revlon Super Lustrous Creme Lipsticks I tried, this one is actually very dry and does not build up well. (In the photo I have about 8-10 layers!) I do not like this lipstick at all and regret buying it.

Peach Me (628)
This color is a peachy-orange with a golden/yellow pearl/frosty glaze to it (even shown on sticker). It is listed as a Creme finish but I believe it should be listed as a Pearl Finish. This color is creamy but not matte. I like this color though, but not as extraordinary like the others.

Some Comparisons

I hope this was helpful. I've learned to love drugstore lipsticks as MAC prices begin to hike and as I don't hear about any of their upcoming discount sales.

Have you guys tried these yet? If so, are there any that you would recommend?
