Rimmel Airy Fairy Lipstick Review

Hey everybody. I got a request from one of my readers to try this product. And I must say I'm very glad I did because its one of my new all-time favorites!!

The color I would describe it as a light mauvey pink that has nude undertones but still looks pink. When I swatched the product I noticed that it had a slight sheen to it but I think it's okay to have this since I have small lips and the shine helps emphasize my lips.

The color comes of a slightly opaque but it builds as you layer it. I think it a great light pink great since I have tanned skin and very pigmented lips and this color does not make me look like a guidette. It's very hard for people with medium to dark skin to find that perfect pink and I think this one really pulls it off for a lot of skintones.

The best part about this lipstick is that I was able to find it at CVS.com and it only cost me $5.29. I really love this color and have been wearing it a lot lately. I also like how it smells.

I hope this was helpful and thank you for the request!

I really want to try other of these Rimmel Lasting Finish Intense Wear Lipsticks. Have you guys tried this product in the other colors?

Revlon Photoready Translucent Powder and Foundation Review

Hey guys, I've been doing a lot of hauling lately, buying and trying a lot of drugstore products. This past week Rite Aid had a 40% off sale on Revlon products and so I bought quite a lot of stuff. The plus side to this hauling was that for every $10 I spend on Revlon Products I would receive free $4 coupon on anything in the store. This was great because it made me buy more Revlon stuff and everything super cheap. I usually buy drugstore products when they are on sale that week. So this was awesome!

Revlon PhotoReady Powder, 001 Translucent

This was my first time trying a translucent powder to set my foundation. I usually use my MAC studio-fix powder in NC40 to set my MAC foundation. I really like this powder. I do notice a slight scent to it but it's bearable. I think this a great alternative to a more expensive or a cheaper translucent powder.

(the brush isn't that great though
:/ )

In the winter I'm an NC37 in MAC liquid foundation but recently I have gotten quite a tan and am about a NC40-42. So I definitely had to buy a new foundation. Since I have been running low on budget, I really wanted to try this foundation. And I must say that I am very pleased and quite impressed because I feel as if this color suits me better than my liquid MAC foundation.

So as for choosing the right shade, I had a really good idea of what color would be my perfect for me from other bloggers and youtubers. Aubrey aka Fafinettex3 is the same exact skintone as I am so I chose based on her opinion. And I am very happy with what I got. I chose the color 008 Golden Beige.

What I really like about this foundation is that it's a bit sheer and has micro glitters that add shimmer. These shimmers are there to reflect light in photographs. When I wear this foundation it makes my skin look as if it has a nice glowy finish and the color matches my skin perfectly. However, when I take pictures, it made my face appear a bit lighter. To tone down the lightness, I contoured my face and wore some blush. And I must say I am very please with this. I also love he fact that it has a pump.

The dewy sparkly finish after blending out the pump more.

So, If you are an NC37-42 I recommend getting the Revlon Photoready in 008 Golden Beige. The translucent powder also works great at setting this product also. I hope this was helpful. Thanks for reading.

What's your opinion on Revlon Photoready Foundation?

Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick Lip Swatches PART II

Hi everyone! I just wanted to share these lovely lipsticks that I'm absolutely in love with right now! I tried these before and I really liked them.

Read My Old Review Here

So when I saw they were 40% off in Rite Aid again I went and I bought these new colors. This time I tried to pick different colors than the neutrals, but things that would suit my skin color.

The first color is called Peachy Scene. It's a peachy/brown with orange undertones. It has a nice pearly gold glaze to it. I really like it! It looks a bit nude/ neutral on my lips since I'm tan. The color is also very buildable.

The next color is called On The Mauve. This color isn't really mauve to me, it's more of a light purple/lilac color with some brown undertones and a slight shimmer. What really caught my attention about this color is that its very unique, like something I have never seen before. I like this color, but I don't recommend it for everyday since it looks a bit darkening to your lips. This color is a really cool color to try.

The next color is called Coral Crush. This is a very neon pinkish coral that has no shimmer and a nice creamy finish. When I saw this lipstick I instantly knew this was a dupe for MAC Red Full Stop, which is limited edition and something that I really want. But now I have this and I feel awesome for finding a dupe! Definitely recommend this one!

The next color is Make Me Pink. It's a very neutral/regular pink with blue undertones. It has no shimmer. I have to say that this color is the perfectest pink ever! This is one of my new everyday lipsticks. I like this way more than Pink Please because I feel that this suits my tan skin better than Pink Please, which looks more nude. This is a must have color for everyone!

This next color is Totally Toffee and OMG OMG OMG, I love this color soo much! It's my everyday color and a great nudish/neutral for my skin. It's practically the same color as my pigmented lips but it has a tan/nude effect to it. I recommend this for if you are around an NC 37, great nude!

The next color I got is Pink Peony. This is a pink/magenta with red undertones. This lipstick has a lot of shimmer and glitter in it. It's very beautiful. It reminds me of MAC Pink Burst. I recommend this for all skintones.
