Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick Lip Swatches

Hey, everyone! I've been hauling for the past few weeks sinces there has been some great drugstore sales on make-up. About 2-3 weeks ago, Maybelline cosmetics were on sale in Rite Aid and I wanted to give them a try since I heard good reviews on them. So here's what I bought.

Maybeline Color Sensational Lipsticks infrom Left to Right: Pink Please(025), Warm Me Up (235), Park Ave Peach (535), and Blushing Brunette (245)

They first color is called Pink Please. It's a very creamy light pink/peach with some red/brown undertones. I heard great things about this online and I am happy that I bought it since it's a bit different than the other ones I got. This is the kind of pink that doesn't wash me out and can be paired with almost any gloss. It has no shimmer in it also. I love it.

The next color I got is called Warm Me Up. I found it funny that it has that name since it reminded me of MAC's Warm Me Up. It's a brown/mauve color with no shimmer in it. I havn't compared it to MAC's Warm Me Up but I think MAC's is a bit more peachy.

The next color I got is called Park Ave. Peach. I absolutley love this color. It's a coral/peach/brown color. Once again this one does not contain any shimmers. If you love corals, then you'll love this one!

The last color I got is called Blushing Brunette. THIS COLOR IS MY FAVORITE! out of all four of them. I could wear this all the time. I've been wearing this a lot lately. It feels like a lustre formula and has a shimmer/shine to it. The color (brown/pink) is a bit darker than my normal lipsticks but I definately recommend this one!

MAC Art Supplies Collection Review

So yesterday I purchased Greasepaint sticks and pearlglide eyeliners from the MAC Art Supplies collection which came out yesterday. The collection also had these lipstain markers but I decided to skip those because they didn't seem very useful to have. So here's what I got.

Pearlglide Eyeliners
Industrial LE: From the Art Supplies Collection. It's a periwinkle grey which looks dark blue but has very bright light blue glitters. When flashing with a camera, it seems lighter than the original color. Goes on very smoothly and is smudgeproof.
Undercurrent LE: From the Art Supplies Collection. It's a blue teal will very bright golden glitters, Goes on very smoothly and is smudgeproof.
Designer Purple LE: From the Art Supplies Collection. It's a bright grape-purple with pink and purple glitters. Very unique and great to have. Goes on very smoothly and is smudgeproof.
Petrol Blue LE: From the Art Supplies Collection. It's a dark navy blue with turquoise/cyan blue sparkles and glitters. I love this, it's very unique from other blue liners. Goes on very smoothly and is smudgeproof.

From top to bottom: Designer Purple, Petrol Blue, Industrial, Undercurrent

Sorry for the smudged swatch near Petrol Blue, it was from an eyeliner swatch.

Greasepaint Sticks
Below Ground LE: From the Art Supplies Collection. It's a blackened bronze that seems like a gold base. It's very nice to have for lighter colored Mineralize eyeshadows or for under your eyes.
Dirty LE: From the Art Supplies Collection. It's a blackened taupe with pearl, silver, gold glitters. It looks amazing for creasing a neutral eyeshadow look or for brown eyeshadows.
Slick Black LE: From the Art Supplies Collection. It's a true carbon black with no glitters or shimmer. This is great to pair with Mineralize eyeshadows, especially the ones from the MAC Styleblack collection.

From top to bottom: Slick Black, Below Ground, Dirty

The special thing about these Greasepaint sticks is that they have a sharpener that you can pull off at the end. It's very cute and small, I didn't get to test them out yet but I will test them out soon.

Milani Liquif’Eye Metallic Eye Liner Pencils Review and Comparisons

The top and the bottom ones are the Milani Liquif’Eye Metallic Eye Liner Pencils. I decided to try these out ever since I heard Temptalia's review of them. I must say that they are wonderful and long lasting! I found them to be somewhat similar look MAC Powerpoint Pencils or Urban Decay 24-7 liners. So I decided to compare it with ones that I already have. And I found them to be the same size and look very alike.

From Top to bottom: Milani Brown, MAC So There Jade, Milani Silver

From Top to bottom: Milani Brown, MAC So There Jade, Milani Silver

Same Exact Size! (I never sharpened the MAC one)

From Top to bottom: Milani, MAC. They are both 0.04 OZ/ 1.2g and made in Germany :)

Here are some swatch comparisons.
As you can see, they are very similar looking but I found the Milani ones much easier to use, denser and more smooth. But the only problem I had with the Milani was when I put it on my waterline. These are great for upperlash area. Here are some more swatches.

More Milani reviews are coming soon! Thanks for reading! :)

MAC Comparison - Light That Fire and Pink Grapefruit

I've heard a lot of forums and people asking if these two colors are similar. Well since I have both of them I thought I would do a comparison. Both of these are wonderful and limited edition!

So first here's MAC Light That Fire from the Warm & Cozy Collection. I found it to be more yellow in color and have less shimmers than Pink Grapefruit. Its a very great color to have thought and especially since it's limited edition.

So first here's MAC Pink Grapefruit. I got this from a holiday set in 2008 but I think it was originally from the Manish Arora Collection. I found it to be more pinker in color and have lots of shimmers. Its also limited edition!

Here you can see the difference with no flash! Light that Fire is much more yellow toned and Pink Grapefruit is more pink toned.

With flash they almost look the same. Even when worm on lips they look exactly the same because of the undertones in my lips.

Overall, if you have one of the lipglass you don't need to get the other unless you need another one! :) Thanks for reading.

MAC - Optimistic Orange and Fresh Salmon

Two great oranges and corals that are about sold out everywhere! Luckily I found Optimistic Orange at a Bloomingdales and Fresh Salmon at a Macys. So here is my review.

Blush
Optimistic Orange (Cremeblend)LE: From the Lillyland collection. It's a creamy orange-coral. It looks orange in my swatch but on cheeks it looks more coral after it is blended out. It's definately a must have!

Lipstick
Fresh Salmon (Lustre)LE: From the Spring Colour Forecast Colour 2 collection. It's a sheer bright pink orange. It builds in layers on lips and look fab! I love it!

I hope you enjoyed my review! I will have more posts coming up about amazing things that I got so keep checking back. Thanks for reading :)

MAC - Riveting Collection Review and Swatches

Once again here's another post that I had planned to put up a while ago but couldn't becuase of all my exams. Here's my haul from the Riveting Collection. I was soo excited about this collection because a lot of the things I wanted were PRO items and to me, most PRO items are very pigmented. This collection had many metallic and silvers but I decided to skip those.

Blush
Dirty Plum (Powder) PRO: From the Riveting collection. It's a deep plum. It's very good to contour with this. It gives a nice unique plum shade. I tried to use it as a blush but I failed. It's definitely better for contouring.
Full Fuchshia (Powder) PRO: From the Riveting collection. It's a very bright iridescent fuchsia. It's definately a must have!

Lipstick
Show Orchid (Amplified Creme) PRO: From the Riveting collection. It's a very bright hot pink that's a bit blue based. A very Barbie pink and a must have!

Lipglass
True Babe (Creme) LE: From the Riveting collection. It's a creamy bright hot pink gloss that's a bit blue based also. Also a very Barbie pink lipgloss which I found unique than other glosses and a must have!

I hope you enjoyed my review! I will have more posts coming up about amazing things that I got so keep checking back. Thanks for reading :)
